Do you have a story that doesn't fit in a poster session? A weird finding, a hard-won lesson, an unreasonable opinion about metadata, an obsession with tide gauges you can't explain at parties?
Spark isn't a conference talk. It's five minutes and 20 slides that advance whether you're ready or not. We want the communicators who make strangers lean in — the ones who can make a room laugh, gasp, or rethink something in less time than it takes to find coffee.
No dataset required. No results necessary. No jargon permitted. If you've ever watched a talk and thought someone should really explain this differently — congratulations, you're someone.
Applications close at midnight PT on October 23, 2026. We pick 10–12 speakers and coach every one of them.
It's blank on purpose — we're still choosing the speakers who'll fill it.
